Computer Society of India - NSIT Student Branch commenced its workshop on JAVA CORE from Jan 21, 2007. This 10 hour workshop was delivered by DILIP KUMAR SINGH, highly experienced personnel in the field of Java. Around 50 NSIT students attended this workshop out of which 31 were CSI members.
This event was a huge success.
It was a great learning experience for the organizers and participants alike and the effort was appreciated by all.
The workshop was a segment of a wider project, which comprises of three segments. The first segment of the project was JAVA CORE. The objective here was to cover fundamentals (Objects and Classes, Inheritance, and Interfaces and Inner Classes) including Applets, Exceptions and Debugging. Certificates will be given on the basis of a written test.
The second segment will consist of ADVANCED JAVA and last segment will consist of JAVA SCRIPTING which are proposed to be held in the future.
