The event consisted of an hour and a half devoted to crunching problems in C and solving problems that required students to formulate algorithms and code them later on. Problems in C will varied from simple run of the mill stuff to puzzles that are interesting to crack.

A questionnaire consisting of 10 questions was given to the students taking part in the event, an introduction was provided for each problem in the questionnaire and students were then be given time to solve them. Students were then given a chance to give their answers and discussions on the solutions was held. Problems that require students to write a code in C/C++ were star marked and algorithms for their potential solutions would be discussed on the spot while codes written by students will have to be submitted to the organizers over the week that follows. Students can also paste their codes on CSI forums.
The first installment of this event was held on 8th April 2009.
