Workshop on Photoshop

An introductory workshop where students learnt about the basic workspace and various popular techniques used in photoshop for both portrait retouching as well as for designing purposes. It received a huge response with over 100 first years attending! Handouts were provided to all attendees of the workshop. As a follow-up a google group was made and a competition was organized for designing the cover page of Bits n Bytes. With over 30 submissions, 6 were shortlisted to work in the BnB team with the top 3 receiving prizes. 

PC Assembly Workshop in Association With DIGIT Magazine

The workshop took place on 30th September in the Mini Auditorium. It was a huge success with over 200 students participating in the workshop. The workshop comprised of sections where experts from both DIGIT and NVIDIA talked over a variety of topics such as CPU assembly, GPU, overclocking, RAM, Mother Board, And the best possible solutions for both hardware and software. The highlight of the workshop was the distribution of goodies which included free NVIDIA dvds, free magazines and CDs by DIGIT to all participants as well as T-shirts, flash links ,Subscription Coupons and many more to enthusiastic students in the audience.
